Slow fashion
Slow fashion proposes a slowdown, a break from the excessive production and consumption installed by fast fashion, those that led to the fashion industry being the second most polluting on the planet.
From this perspective, the time that each process needs is highly valued, allowing each member of the value chain to carry out their activity from an ethical and responsible perspective, considering both the impact on the environment and the human impact generated.
Some characteristics of a slow fashion brand
• Made from high quality, sustainable materials like pima cotton;
• Garments are more timeless than trendy;
• Designs carefully thought to minimize waste;
• Eco-friendly packaging and labelling;
• Few, specific styles per collection, which are released twice or maximum three times per year, or a permanent seasonless collection;
• Often made-to-order to reduce unnecessary production.
